Nestled within Zilker Park is one of Austin's most popular swimming holes, Barton Springs Pool. This impressive 3 acre pool is spring-fed and stays at a cool ~68 degress year-round. While many Austinites retreat from the Texas heat in the summer, you can go for a swim any time of year as it is open year-round. 

Hours of Operation:

5am-10pm Daily

CLOSED Thursdays 9am-7pm for maintenance

Hamilton Pool Preserve is a historic swimming hole which was designated a preserve in 1990. Located 3/4 mile from it's confluence with the Pedernales River, Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall.
