Texas Memorial Museum is housed within the Texas Natural Science Center located on the University of Texas campus at Austin. Nestled within Zilker Park is one of Austin's most popular swimming holes, Barton Springs Pool. This impressive 3 acre pool is spring-fed and stays at a cool ~68 degress year-round. While many Austinites retreat from the Texas heat in the summer, you can go for a swim any time of year as it is open year-round.
