Mission: To educate and inform the public about the San Marcos River Watershed Ecosystem, in an effort to conserve and restore the watershed and it's indigenous wildlife. The SMNC has a variety of animal exhibits and native plants from the San Marcos area, a pond and themed gardens. 

They offer:

• native plant sales
• tours of the butterfly house
• nature walks
• wildscape demos
• nature seminars
• youth activities
• general tours

Monday-Friday 10am-5pm

Saturday 10am-4pm

Sunday 11am-5pm
