I love taking my kiddos to this farm. I first learned about Crowe's Nest as a teacher. I now take my kids and they love it. It's so educational for them. You get live encounters with animals and it's a great place for a picnic. Highly recommended.

We are here with a school field trip I take my sons to buy stuff from the store we bought stuff for $40 and my kids started to look at $3 mouse and farmer Eric says unless u plan on buying that too don't touch it, thought that was quite rude. It's a farm and kids aren't allowed to touch anything.... I would not recommend going Farmer Eric was very rude!!

We recently visited the Crowe's Nest Farm with a group from my boys' preschool and it was wonderful! We started with a very quick run through of what to expect, what we would see, the farm layout, and the few rules there. We then spent some time visiting the many small insects and creatures in the big barn. The snakes were a big hit with many of the kids! Then we split our large group in 2, our group went on a short (about 15 minute) hayride to meet the buffalo and ostriches. All of the children enjoyed the rather bumpy ride. Then we switched places with the other group and went into a smaller barn to see how they milk their cows. The employees were very friendly and knowledgable! After that we were free to explore the rest of the farm. We saw typical farm animals like chickens, roosters, pigs, sheep, cows, donkeys, and goats along with a large number of birds of all types. The highlight of the day was a trip through the fairy forest complete with a sparkling brook. The alphabet garden was also very cool with a vegetable for every letter of the alphabet! We finished with a picnic in their large covered pavilion. Even though their were other groups there we never felt crowded or rushed. I recommend it for groups of any sizes or just a nice morning trip for the family!...more
